City of Oxford's Sam van de Schootbrugge was celebrating after clinching a four-medal haul at the Dutch National Age Group Finals in Dordrecht, Holland.
The 12-year-old from Abingdon, who attends the European School on Culham, struck gold twice, winning the 200m IM in 2.34.44, before powering home first in the 100m backstroke in 1.12.01.
As a bonus, he swam both events in personal bests.
His 200m IM performance was an age group meeting record.
He then won silver in the 100m butterfly and bronze in 100m freestyle, both also in personal bests.
Meanwhile, at the Newbury Time Banded Open, 12-year-old Melissa Hawtin produced a magnificent nine second personal best in the 200m IM. She also took a silver medal in the 12/u 100m butterfly.
Leanne Brooks, 10, pipped teammate Imogen Kempton in the 50m breaststroke and 50m freestyle, taking the silver and bronze medals respectively.
Kempton struck silver in the 50m backstroke and finished fourth in the 100m IM.
In the 12 & under age group, 11-year-old Kezia Pullinger struck bronze in the 100m breaststroke, beating teammate into fifth place. She was third in the 100m freestyle as the fastest 11 year old.
Anna Canlan-Shaw took silver in 100m freestyle and struck bronze in the 200m IM.
In 14 & under category, Alexandra Ninkovic was seventh in the 200m IM, making her the second fastest 13-year-old.
Her brother, Peter was fourth in the boys' 100m backstroke, as was Sarah Logan in the girls' event.
