An overturned lorry reduced rush-hour traffic to a crawl on Oxford's Eastern Bypass this morning (June 21).
The Tesco HGV was negotiating the Rose Hill roundabout on the A4142 when it toppled over, partially blocking the road.
No other vehicle was involved and the lorry driver was treated for cuts and bruises after the accident at about 3.30am. The lorry was finally moved at 10.30am.
A Tesco spokesman said the vehicle had been on its way to deliver supplies to a store in north London.
She added: "Thankfully the driver was not seriously hurt and no other vehicles were involved."
This is the third time in a little over a year a Tesco lorry has overturned at roundabouts on the Oxford ring road.
The Oxford-bound carriageway of the A420 at Cumnor was closed for almost four hours last night after a collision between a car and an articulated lorry. The road was reopened shortly before midnight.
