Oxford City's veterans achieved a double success at the National BMAF 5K Road Championships at Horwich, near Bolton, on Sunday.
On a challenging three-lap undulating course around the town centre, City's over 50s took the gold medal in the team event with a combined time of 51.03, beating their nearest rivals by more than 30 seconds.
The team have now won two golds and a bronze in the last four events.
Richard Grant was first home for City's veterans, finishing 46th overall in a time of 16.56, followed closely by Roy Treadwell in 49th place with a time of 16.58.
John Exley made up the winning team, finishing 57th in a time of 17.09.
There were also individual successes for Treadwell and Exley in the Vet 55 age group, who took the gold and bronze medals respectively.
Grant missed out on an individual medal in the Vet 50 age group by just one second.
Dave Wheeler also ran for the V50's finishing 69th in a time of 17.39.
The Vet 40 team took the bronze medal in the team event with a combined time of 1.05.18.
Steve Male led the team home with another impressive run, and despite breaking the course record in a time of 15.23, had to settle for fourth place in a hotly-contested race.
Brian Green was the second City runner to finish, his time of 16.12 putting him in 19th place overall and fourth in the Vet 45 age group.
James Percival, who finished 41st in 16.48, and Trevor Dixon, 44th in 16.55, completed the City team.
