Mikael Bottger flew back from Germany to bag a total of 21 individual points and help Oxford City secure their second win of the season in the Southern League Division 3 West.
The multi-event athlete notched up two wins and four second places during the event in Salisbury.
City pushed local rivals Abingdon Amblers into second place, and leap-frogged them into third place in the table.
Notable performances for City also came from Ben Kelsey and Seymour Scott.
Kelsey produced a throw of 38.50m to win the discus, while he also took both the hammer and the shot.
Meanwhile, Scott was busy destroying the field in both the 800m and the 1500m, where his combined winning margin was some 40 metres.
Another star performance came from Abdul Rahmati, who was second in both the 800m and the 3000m steeplechase, and fourth in the 5000m.
This earned him and the team a vital ten points -enough to ensure victory.
There were other impressive performances from Andrew Tippett and Steve Maloney in the 400m and 400m hurdles.
Tippett left his rivals trailing in the hurdles to finish in 56.1secs, while Maloney was third in the flat in a personal best of 55.0secs.
Abingdon finished a courageous second, despite fielding only ten athletes.
The leading performances came in the sprints and the 3000m steeplechase, with Jonny Lodowski, Aaron Teale, Matt Nathanielsz, Jason Cooke and Steve Blezard leading the way.
Result: 1 Oxford C 142pts, 2 Abingdon 134, 3 Wimborne & Poole 120, 4 Salisbury 100.

In a simultaneous Divison 3 match at Salisbury, Radley's men were edged out by three points by the Royal Navy.
But Radley could be well satisfied with their performance, and particularly from 16-year-old Danny Griffiths, who improved his personal best and under 17 club record in the 800m to 2.01.3, despite managing only third place in a strong field.
Ben Owen returned from injury to clock another personal best and club record in the 200m, where he beat the field from the start to clock 22.1.
He also won the 100m in 11.2s and the B-string long jump with a leap of 6.07m.
Owen also came second in the B string pole vault, and helped the 4x100m relay team to victory.
Teammates Tim Ahrens, Steve Wren and Craig Spires also clocked up useful points.
Result: 1 Royal Navy 145pts, 2 Radley 142, 3 Wimbourne 118, 4 Team Kennet 91.
