Two drop-in sessions are being held for residents to talk to Thames Water officials about plans to expand Witney sewage treatment plant.
Meetings will take place at the Corn Exchange, in Witney's Market Square, from 7pm on Thursday, July 14, and 5pm on Saturday, July 16. The water company has organised the sessions as part of consultation to explain to residents why the expansion is needed.
New EU rules mean sludge -- the organic matter left after sewage has been treated -- now has to be treated with lime before it can be used on farmland as fertiliser.
Anyone who cannot attend the sessions, but would like further information can call 0845 9200800.
