DIVISION 2 side Horley sprung a major shock in the Airey Cup quarter-finals with a three-wicket win over Division 1 outfit Witney Swifts yesterday.
Keith Palmer took 4-50 as Swifts were bowled out for 175, Rob Pratley top-scoring with 51.
Nick Tarrant (39) then steered Horley to 177-7 with an over to spare.
Dickie Knight, who norm- ally keeps wicket for Hook Norton, took 6-43 in a 129-run victory over Brill.
Melvyn Riley (86), Simon Richards (49) and Gary Edwards (48no) helped Hooky up to 281-6, before Knight took centre stage to bowl Brill out for 152.
Oxford Caribbean won a high-scoring clash at Marcham by 50 runs.
Bryan Barrett smashed 104 not out as Caribbean posted 293-4, Eddie Howard (49) and Richard Burton (47no) also chipping in.
Matt Launchbury (66) led Marcham's reply, but they were kept down to 243-5.
Haroon Malik starred for Twyford as they beat Westbury by six wickets.
Richard Tredwell hit 90 in Westbury's 188-7, but Haroon (92no) and skipper Ian Perna (30no) steered Twyford to 190-4.
