A popular event that sees hundreds of people gathering at Shotover Park in Oxford to race decorated eggs down the hill has been cancelled.
The event in Headington usually takes place over the Easter weekend.
A spokesman for Oxford City Council said: “We want to reinstate this very popular event and will work with voluntary organisations to try to secure its future success.”
