In this top of the table A-League clash Horspath took the lead half way through the first half when a free kick taken thirty yards out by Horspath's Josh Tooke flew straight into the top corner of the net. In a hard fought battle Horspath continued to dominate in the first half making it 2-0 just before half-time, when Josh Tooke's free kick shot into goal for his brace. Second half saw more of the same with some very determined and skilful football being played. Horspath worked tirelessly and excellent team work enabled Horspath's Jake Peters to work down the right and he slotted Horspaths third goal in past the keeper to make it 3-0. Abingdon Town secured a goal when Joe Hartley scored a header making the final score 3-1. Well done to Horspath who thoroughly deserved to come out winners in this match.
