Marston Saints came out on top in this weekends clash.
Both teams started well in the first half passing the ball round looking for the first goal.
A great passing move down the pitch saw Joshua Josephs shot pushed out by Faringdon’s goalie for Rowan Alexander to follow up and place the ball in the net.
Marston defence of Leo Galpin and Josiah Lyder kept Faringdon quiet for the rest of the half with Leo taking a looping shot from the half way line narrowly missing the goal.
Marston continued to dominate in the second half with Faringdon making some superb goal line clearances. A corner from Tendia Mawema took a small deflection on its way into the goal for the Saints to score their second.
The rest of the game saw more great passing football from both teams an enjoyable game to watch.
