A thoroughly entertaining game took place at Didcot Town's stadium between two teams who already have a date in the final of the OFA cup. Kidlington got off to a bad start when a back pass to their keeper didn't reach its target and Kenneth Ndawula capitalised on the sloppy play and tucked the ball into the corner of the net to get Marston off to a flying start. Kidlington responded and pressed for an equaliser which came not long after. Good work from Rolanad Hassani down the right paid off when he slotted home to level the scores and make up for the disastrous start. Kidlington had the lion share of possession and took advantage when Hassani raced into the box and got on the end of a cross to put the greens 2-1 up. Further chances were wasted by Kidlington until their centreback, Christien Turner, headed in from a corner to make it 3-1 at the break. In the second half Marston had the bit between their teeth and put Kidlington under immense pressure which paid off when the referee pointed to the spot for pushing in the box. Billy Cooper stepped up and smashed the ball into the back of the net to make it 3-2 and set up a tense finale to the game. Marston finished strongly but squandered some good chances to take the game into extra time. Kidlington held on to win the game and reach their second final.
