Abingdon went into this game with title secured so they wanted to end the season unbeaten.
Goring started the better and Abingdon's front two of Max Shepherd and James Pearce-Shaw were well marshalled by the Goring defence.
Abingdon then started to control the game and pepperd the Goring goal but could not find a way past the Goring keeper. The game started to go a bit stale when Goring striker Ryland Hale scored with a good shot from 10 yards with the Abingdon defence and keeper not clearing the cross from the left.
From the kick off Abingdon pressed forward and George Woodley hit the bar from 25 yards the ball came back to Max Shepherd and he headed the ball back to the keeper who was sat on the floor. Goring ended the half stronger but could not increase their goal tally. Half time Goring 1 - 0 Abingdon.
Second half was like the first with Abingdon having no luck in front of goal. Goring were then pushed back and Abingdon started to control the game and Luke Meehan scored after a mix up in the Goring box.
The Abingdon manager made some changes and it worked as a pass from Mat Pearson fell to Daniel Jacob who tapped in from 6 yards. Goring pushed up another striker but with that Abingdon found the holes in the Goring defence as Daniel jacob got his second with a volley from 12 yards. Luke Meehan then got his second after some good work on the right and he went past 2 defenders to fire the ball into an empty net.
Full time Goring 1 - 4 Abingdon Youth.
Well done Goring for playing some excellent football and giving Abingdon a good game of football.
