Police this afternoon appealed for help to trace a missing 12-year-old girl from Oxford.

Ellie-Mai Hill, of Pegasus Road, Blackbird Leys, was last seen at her home at 10pm on Wednesday.

Police said she is about 5ft 6in tall, with a slim build and shoulder-length hair.

Insp Simon Morton said: “We are concerned for her wellbeing and we want to hear from anyone who may have seen her or knows her whereabouts.”
