CHILDREN danced, sang, rapped and performed for Wantage Primary School’s version of hit television show Britain’s Got Talent.
The Our School’s Got Talent show was performed to an audience of about 200 family and friends.
There was everything from piano, clarinet, violin, handbells and drums, poetry, tap, ballet, Indian dance, and breakdancing.
Staff got in on the act too, with a group of teachers and teaching assistants calling themselves The Mushy Peas performing their interpretation of the Black Eyed Peas hit I Gotta Feeling.
Headteacher Phil Hibbs said: “The talent show was very enjoyable to watch.
“The children had, quite clearly, worked very hard preparing for the show and the result was a very impressive show."”
The show was the brainchild of teaching assistant Claire Tobin. She said: “We were overwhelmed by the level of talent.”
