AN OXFORDSHIRE woman is trekking along one of the seven wonders of the world to help terminally ill children in the county.
Tracy Toms, from Yarnton, is on a 10-day hike along the Great Wall of China, walking up to eight hours a day for the Goring-based Starlight Children’s Foundation, which grants wishes for terminally ill children.
Mrs Toms, 46, works in Kidlington as finance director for chocolate firm Guylian, which is sponsoring her for the walk. The trek, which started on Sunday, was arranged by radio station Heart FM as part of its Have a Heart Appeal. She has already smashed her fund-raising target of £3,000 by £500, and cash is still coming in.
