Police are appealing for witnesses after a van driver drove off after hitting two girls on a Kidlington crossing.
At about 2.15pm on Monday, two 15-year-old girls were crossing on a pelican crossing outside Gosford Hill School, when a large white van went through a red light, hitting them both.
The driver initially stopped at the scene, but drove off in the direction of the Peartree roundabout, without leaving any details.
Both girls suffered severe bruising as a result of the incident.
