A man has been charged in connection with an incident at the Fox and Hounds Pub in Christmas Common.
Paul Darragh, 46, of Hollywood, County Down, has been charged with two counts of religious aggravated assault, two counts of assault, affray and possession of an offensive weapon on Sunday.
He has been bailed to attend Oxford Magistrates’ Court on April 6.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "The charges related to an incident where two Asian men and one white man were allegedly assaulted at about 4.15pm on Sunday.
"The offender left the premise and was arrested nearby in possession of an axe."
