DAVID Cameron’s wife is expecting her fourth child, it was announced today.
Samantha, 38, is due to give birth in September and the couple were said to be ‘completely thrilled’.
The couple, pictured, have two children; Nancy, six, and Arthur Elwen, four.
Their eldest child Ivan, who suffered from cerebral palsy and severe epilepsy, died in February last year, aged six.
Barry Norton, a constituency agent from the Witney Conservative office, said the news of Mrs Cameron’s pregnancy was fantastic.
He added: “We’re delighted to learn that David and Samantha are expecting another child.
“All our members will want to send their very best wishes for a successful pregnancy and we very much look forward to the addition to the family.”
Mr Cameron has hinted at wanting another child several times over recent months, including at last year’s Woodstock Literary Festival.
Answering a question on population growth from an audience member at the festival in September, he said: “I don’t believe Britain is over-populated.
“I don’t have any plans to reduce it.
“I would quite like to add to it, personally, by quite possibly one, at some stage in the future.”
