NOW that all the traffic lights outside Oxford railway station are working, I can see no reason to change Frideswide Square.

Who is it who wants to make a quick buck? First it was the Westgate Shopping Centre, but that seems to have blown over. Now it’s the station, which runs like clockwork.

My car is ruined by potholes, but I’m told there is no money to repair the roads. The footpath outside my bungalow is a disgrace – no money.

I would like Oxford Mail readers to write in too.

Who is to pay for it all anyway? The taxpayer.
