Police are appealing for witnesses after two vehicles were stolen from outside a house in Witney.
At about 3am on Saturday, thieves broke into a house in Harvest Way through the back door and stole two sets of car keys that had been left on a window sill.
The vehicles, a Vauxhall Vivaro van and a Land Rover Discovery, have since been found.
Det Sgt Rob Hughes said: “I would urge people to take precautions and ensure that any car keys are kept in a secure place and out of sight.
“I am also appealing to anyone with information about this burglary, to come forward and help us with our investigations.”
Anyone with information should contact Det Sgt Hughes via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 0845 8 505 505, or alternatively you can contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
