Summertown United's regular goalkeeper celebrated a rare outfield appearance by bagging a hat trick. In a very tight encounter, mostly confined to the midfield, neither side created many chances. However, while Hinksey's efforts were denied by the cross-bar or some steadfast goalkeeping, Summertown's Finn Johnson-Ward used his pace to find the net once in the first half and twice in the second. While Summertown deserved to win the final scoreline belied the closeness of the game.
