Abingdon went into this game needing 3 points from 2 games to claim the title. From the start Abingdon against the wind were causing the Henley defence problems. Five minutes into the game and Luke Meehan settled Abingdon nerves after he cooly slotted past the Henley keeper from 10 yards. Max Shepherd then put Abingdon 2 up when he raced past the the last Henley defender and poked the ball home from 6 yards.

With Abingdon still celerbrating Henley started to play some good football and had a succession of corners, which after one corner Henry Arthur hit the post with a snap shot with the Abingdon keeper on the floor. The Abingdon manager then made some substitutions and with that Daniel Jacob split the defence with a first time pass and Luke Meehan scored his second with a chip over the keeper into an empty net. Half time Abingdon 3 Henley 0.

Second half and it seemed to go wrong for Abingdon with Henley winning every ball and putting the Abingdon defence under a lot of pressure. Henley got a goal back when Henry Arthur beat 2 Abingdon players and scored from the edge of the box. This made Abingdon wake up and and they responded with a penalty but James Pearce-Shaw missed, Abingdon then started to dominate and George Woodley forced a corner and from the resulting corner Luke Meehan scored his hatrick goal with a crisp volley from the edge of the box.

Abingdon were still nervous at the back and Henley almost got a second but were denied by a goal line clearance by Joe Hackett, Abingdon then attacked and a deft header from Daniel Jacob set up James Pearce-Shaw to race clear of the Henley defence and score Abingdon's fifth goal when he rounded the Henley Keeper.
