A 24-year-old East Oxford man has been charged with rape, kidnap, and robbery in connection with an incident in Oxford in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Yasin Mohamed, of Aston Street, was arrested on the same day a 19-year-old foreign student reported she had been grabbed while walking along St Clement's Street.
The victim was taken into the nearby St Clement’s Church graveyard and attacked. She was then taken to a property in the East Oxford area and raped.
The man remains in police custody and will attend Oxford Magistrates Court this morning.
