An agricultural specialist has expanded into new premises in Bicester. Oxford Agricultural Trials, which evaluates agrochemicals, crop varieties, fertilisers and organic products for the crop protection industry, has bought Unit Nine at the Arena 14 development (pictured above) for an undisclosed sum. The move has been prompted by the need for additional premises beyond its current base at Stratton Audley, near Bicester. The new unit will be used for overflow storage and the servicing of future contracts.
Duncan May, associate director at agent Lambert Smith Hampton, said: “This sale follows in the wake of Portable Welders’ purchase of Unit 10, and we have placed three of the four remaining units under offer.
“Not only is this positive news for the Bicester market, but the sale of the freehold is indicative of improving market confidence.”
