Two Oxford branches of dry cleaning firm Johnsons have been relaunched as part of a major nationwide rebranding campaign.
The outlets in Banbury Road, Summertown, and Woodstock Road, have become GreenEarth stores reflecting the company’s commitment to the environment.
About £30,000 was spent on the Summertown store, with a further £20,000 going on the nearby branch.
The newly-refurbished premises will use the latest eco-friendly equipment and their shop front and interiors have been transformed with new Johnson Cleaners GreenEarth signage.
Newly-promoted Banbury Road branch manager, Jerome Fontaine, has worked for Johnson Cleaners for eight years and manages a team of three at the at the 30-year-old Summertown branch.
He said: “We have a great team on board and there’s a real feeling of excitement about the launch of our new store.
“We look forward to many years of successful business ahead.”
Wendy Heyes has managed the Woodstock Road branch for 25 years and was named as Johnson Cleaners’ Manager of the Year in 2009.
She said: “A lot of hard work has gone into refurbishing the branch and we’ve all received additional training on the benefits of using greener cleaning technology.”
