Police today released a CCTV image of a man wanted in connection with a series of thefts at the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.
Between November 16 and 23, there were three separate incidents where members of staff reported having their bank cards stolen from their bags, which have then been used to fraudulently pay for goods and services.
Police only released details of the thefts this afternoon.
PC Sam Devlin said: “We suspect that the man in this picture is responsible for using the stolen cards and I want to speak to him about these incidents as soon as possible.
“I would like to hear from anyone who recognises this man. Perhaps you see him in your neighbourhood? Or you might even know who he is?"
Anyone with information should contact PC Devlin via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 0845 8 505 505, or alternatively contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
