Police are appealing for witnesses after a 19-year-old woman was raped in Oxford in the early hours today.
The woman was walking along St Clement’s Street, at about 2am, when she was grabbed by a man, taken into the nearby St Clement’s Church graveyard and attacked.
She was then taken to a property somewhere in the East Oxford area and raped.
Police said her attacker was described as a light-skinned black man with a medium build.
Det Chief Insp Paine said: “The victim has been left badly shaken by what has happened to her.
“I would urge anyone who may have seen anything to come forward and help us with our investigation.”
