An elderly Oxford woman had a lucky escape when she accidentally drove her Vauxhall Corsa off a driveway and through a neighbour’s garage wall.
A couple in their 70s, who did not want to be named, said they heard a loud bang, but thought it was caused by gas workers who were digging outside their house in Hutchcomb Road, Botley.
When they walked outside they found the car had crashed through their garage and hit their Volkswagen Lupo.
The householder said: “People keep walking past and then come back and take photos. It appears we have become a bit of a tourist attraction round here. We do not know the lady involved, but she was okay.”
