A Wantage youth club which last month unveiled plans to breathalyse children will hold a public meeting to decide its future.
Tonight’s meeting will discuss how Sweatbox, held in King Alfred’s Community and Sports College, Springfield Road, will move forward after the county council said the breath tests were against its youth policy.
Louise Chapman, county council cabinet member for children, young people and families, will chair the meeting in the main hall of the school’s east site at 6.30pm.
The centre will continue to run a drop-in centre on a Friday evening at a time to be agreed.
