Chalgrove blew the title race wide open with a thrilling victory at runaway leaders Crowmarsh. Both teams were missing key players before kick off, a situation made even worse when the Cavaliers second top scorer pulled up injured in the warm up.
The first half was end to end with both keepers pulling off some great saves. Chalgrove took the lead when Harry Miners got in behind the defence and lobbed the keeper.
The second half carried on in the same vein with Crowmarsh soon equalising, the Chalgrove keeper picking up a nasty facial injury trying to make the save and unable to take further part. Harry again restored the Cavaliers lead only for Crowmarsh to come back strongly and equalise with a couple of minutes to go. For the second game running an injury time goal gave the Cavaliers victory as Josh Dobbins's 25 yard half volley crashed in off the crossbar giving the outstanding Crowmarsh keeper no chance.
An excellent game with Crowmarsh crucially gaining the head to head advantage.
