A MAN is in custody after burglars forced their way into a house and stole the owner’s puppy.
Police are appealing for information after three men burst into the house in Trefoil Place, Greater Leys, Oxford, at about 8pm yesterday.
They stole a sandy coloured Staffordshire Bull Terrier, a family pet called ‘Boss’.
Det Con Mark Stalder said: “This is a disturbing incident for the family, and we would appeal for the safe return of Boss as soon as possible.”
A 23-year-old man arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary was in custody this morning.
