Police today appealed for information following a burglary in Oxford in which the intruders made off with a puppy.
At about 8pm yesterday, three men forced their way into a house in Trefoil Place, Blackbird Leys. They threatened the occupants before making off with the family pet, a sandy coloured Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy called Boss.
Det Con Mark Stalder said “This is a disturbing incident for the family, and we would appeal for the safe return of Boss as soon as possible”.
Anyone with information should contact Det Con Stalder via the Thames Valley Police 24-hour enquiry line on 0845 8 505 505, or alternatively contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
A 23 year old man is in police custody in connection with the incident.
