An exciting, tense match that saw plenty of opportunities for both sides to take an early lead. Great defending and fabulous goalkeeping kept Faringdon at bay and Ben Payne put Didcot 1-0 up before half time after a superb run by Matthew Matley. Faringdon piled on the pressure in the second half and a goal mouth scramble led to an equaliser. As the action became end-to-end, Didcot came up with a fantastic piece of teamwork, working the ball with a string of excellent passes through the tireless Didcot midfield, and Matthew Matley finished off emphatically to seal the points.
