ONCE again, Oxfordshire people have shown they stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our service personnel, past and present.
The £540,871.65 raised in the county for the 2009 Poppy Appeal is a magnificent amount that helps so much in providing services for those who need it – including brave men like paratrooper Tom Neathway, who has been helped by the Royal British Legion after suffering terrible injuries serving in Afghanistan.
