Two crashes caused delays for drivers on the M40 today.
A lorry and a car were involved in a collision on the northbound carriageway between junction 11 at Banbury and junction 12 which led to the closure of the road for a time.
Long delays are reported with emergency crews dealing with the crash and a fuel spillage.
Reports say tailbacks have not yet reached junction ten at Radley.
Drivers heading into Buckinghamshire were also hit by queues after two lanes were closed on the southbound carriageway, following a crash involving three vehicles between junction five at Stokenchurch and junction four at the High Wycombe Handy Cross Roundabout.
Lanes one and two were obstructed by the emergency services attending to an accident. One of the vehicles involved is facing the wrong direction.
