THIEVES grabbed a handful of cash during a raid on an Oxford bus.
Two women and a man got on the number 8 Oxford Bus Company bus on London Road, in Headington, at the junction with Old High Street, at about 4.35pm yesterday.
They began to speak to the bus driver then one of the girls grabbed a handful of coins from a cash box and all three fled.
Police spokesman Claire Gourlay said two of the thieves were women thought to be as in their early 20s.
They stole £6.40 in coins.
