Police in Bicester are appealing for help from the public to trace a man who went missing yesterday.
Chester John Parker, known locally as John, 74, from Graham Road, Highfield, Bicester was last seen at home at 5pm yesterday.
Police said they were growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and urged him to contact the police to let them know he was safe and well.
Mr Parker is white, 5ft 10in tall, unshaven with grey, thinning, wavy hair. He was last seen wearing a distinctive blue parka-style jacket, blue jumper and light brown trousers.
Anyone with any information about his whereabouts is urged to contact Bicester police station via the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505, quoting URN 1458 30/1.

Police said they had not yet obtained a picture of Mr Parker.
