A TEENAGER is being held by police today over the stabbing of an Oxford doorman.
The 18-year-old walked into St Aldate's Police Station, in Oxford, at 1pm today and was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
He is being interviewed by detectives.
Doorman Lee Donnelly, 39, was knifed in the stomach while working at The Four Candles, in George Street, at around 12.45am on Sunday.
Mr Donnelly had earlier refused a man entry to be the bar because he was too drunk.
He suffered a single stab wound but was released from hospital later the same day.
