AN OXFORDSHIRE charity for bereaved children will celebrate its 10th anniversary tonight.
SeeSaw, which is based in Merewood Avenue, Headington, will host a private party for volunteers and supporters at the Bodleian Library’s Divinity School from 6pm to 7.30pm.
Celebrity chef Raymond Blanc, who is one of the charity’s patrons, will attend the celebration.
Rosie Nicol-Harper, director of SeeSaw, said the charity had supported 1,950 children from 1,133 families in the past decade.
She added: “We will soon reach the milestone of helping 2,000 children, which is a big achievement, and we hope the coming decade will be equally successful.
“We have worked very hard with other professionals to try to ensure that Oxfordshire is a more understanding place for bereaved children.”
Children can be referred to SeeSaw by a parent, legal guardian or carer, and if a child is over 16 they can refer themselves.
