Three Oxford United fans have this afternoon been given three year football banning orders following a pitch invasion.
John McMahon, 27, of Fern Hill Road, Oxford, was fined £150 and told to pay £100 costs, as well as a £15 victim surcharge.
Joseph Nicolls, 29, of Vineyard, Abingdon, was fined £200, £100 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
Paul Woodburn, 41, of Brize Norton Road, Minster Lovell, was fined £300, £250 costs, and a £15 victim surcharge.
All three were convicted at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today after invading the pitch during United’s game against Northwich Victoria in April.
