Police are appealing for witnesses after a group of young people were robbed in Littlemore.
At about 7.30pm yesterday, a group of teenagers, three boys and a girl were walking home from the cinema when they were approached by four teenage boys, all aged about 17, in Priory Road.
Det Con Steve Martin said: “The offenders took the victims’ mobile phones.
"Although no violence was used, the teenagers were left shaken by the incident.
“The robbery took place in the alleyway between Priory Road and Alice Smith Square.
"I appeal to anyone who was in this area and saw a group of teenagers acting suspiciously to contact police immediately.”
Police have not issued any descriptions of the youths.
Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Det Con Martin via Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If you don’t want to speak to police and don’t want to leave your name contact the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
