Three men have been arrested in connection with a series of offences in Witney in the early hours of Saturday.
Two of the men, both 18, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and assault following two separate incidents.
The first incident happened at about 1.15am in Market Square, when two men are alleged to have approached a 43-year-old man who was standing outside the Argos store and demanded he hand over his wallet.
The two men are then alleged to have gone to the Witney Kebab House in Corn Street, where they carried out an assault on a 22-year-old man in the shop.
The men along with the third, aged 19, have been arrested on suspicion of robbing a 19-year-old girl outside The Red Lion Hotel, in Corn Street, some time after 1am.
Det Con Paddy O’Grady said: “We know that there were a lot of people out in the town on Friday night and into the early hours of Saturday, who may have seen these offences taking place.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed these incidents to come forward and help us with our enquiries.”
