This was a very exciting match, in which the outcome wasn't decided until right at the end.
The first half was evenly matched until, half-way through it, Alex Duncalf pounced on a loose ball in midfield to send Luke Strivens away for 1-0 lead to the Comets.
In the second half, the game swang towards the Sharks, but valiant defending and tireless running from the Comets prevented an equaliser as the minutes ticked away.
However, the Sharks increased their pressure, with Connor Madden dominating the midfield more and more as the Comets players tired.
Eventually the pressure paid off and the Sharks scored through a well-taken goal from Harry Barrett. Then, with a couple of minutes left on the clock, an excellent dribble at speed through the heart of the Comets defence by Connor, followed by a clinical finish, earned Sharks their victory.
There was still time for one last chance which fell to the Comets, but a Sharks defender cleared the ball off his own goal-line just before the Comets attacker could reach it.
All in all, an exciting game of football played with a great spirit by both sides
