A woman was taken to hospital after being knocked down on a crossing in Bicester by a vehicle that did not stop.
The incident happened at about 6.25pm on Friday when the woman, in her early 30s, was knocked down by a vehicle on the pelican crossing at the Tesco store on Pringle Drive, Bicester.
She was taken to hospital for treatment to cuts and bruises and was discharged the following day.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "The vehicle responsible failed to stop at the scene, and we do not have a description of it as it was dark at the time."
