After an 8 week break it was finally back to League action, and neither side showed any signs of rustiness. Wantage were the stronger for much of the first half, but Henley grew in character and went 2-0 ahead with goals in the last ten minutes of the 1st half from Duncan Toms and Will Stone.
In the 2nd half Wantage battled back and Josh Giles and Luke Ulyatt got them back on level terms. Then a Luke Ulyatt penalty saw Concords take the lead for the first time. Both teams went forward and Henley might have had a penalty whilst Wantage had three clear chances to seal the game. But in injury time Henley finally scored a deserved equaliser from Duncan Toms and the game finished at 3-3.
