THE family of a young woman killed in a car crash have left roadside tributes to their “precious girl”.
Jane Sandalls, 26, from Woodstock, died at the John Radcliffe Hospital, in Oxford, on Friday after a crash on Thursday.
Tributes were left at the side of the B4437, between Woodstock and Charlbury, at the New Barn Farm corner, where a Volkswagen Polo and Ms Sandalls’ Peugeot 106 collided.
A note from her father, attached to a toy dog, read: “My darling daughter Jane I leave this guardian to protect this place where you were taken from us. I will keep on loving you until we are reunited, Dad xxx.”
A note with some flowers read: “Jane, our precious girl missing so much Mum, Anna, Emily, Dad x Billy xxx.”
The crash happened at 8.20am on Thursday, seriously injuring Ms Sandalls.
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and released on bail until March 25.
Anyone with information about the crash should call Sgt Pete Jell on 08458 505505.
