Rain put a number of Oxfordshire rivers back on flood watch today.
The alert, the lowest issued by the Environment Agency, is in place on rivers across the county including:
- River Thames from Buscot, through Oxford, Abingdon and Wallingford to Pangbourne
- River Ock
- Letcombe Brook
- River Cherwell
- River Ray
- River Windrush
- River Evenlode
- River Glyme
- River Thame and Chalgrove Brook.
Flood Watch alerts mean that flooding of low-lying land and roads near the rivers can be expected and that people living nearby should be prepared in case the level of alert is increased.
For the latest information, see the Environment Agency's website or call the Floodline on 0845 988 1188.
