A 21-year-old man was robbed of a £1,500 watch and a mobile phone in Cowley early today.
At 4.15am, a man got out of a vehicle in Hollow Way and, as he was walking into Sunnyside, a man came up to him and pressed a blade into his throat, demanding he hand over his money.
The victim handed over about £25 in cash, a mobile phone and a TAG Heuer watch worth about £1,500.
The offender was black, about 6ft 2in tall, slim, in his twenties and was wearing a black leather jacket.
Det Con Karl Ralph said: “There were a few people around at that time of the morning and I urge anyone with any information that could help police with their investigation to get in touch.”
