THE plight of Haiti following last week’s earthquake has clearly touched the hearts of this nation and the wider world.
It may be a devastatingly poor country, that few of us know much about, yet the international response shows that people do care about those less fortunate than themselves.
Everyone from Prof Chris Bulstrode, who is flying out to treat the injured, to Marie Jones, who is swimming the pool at the Ozone Health Club, deserves praise for doing what they can to help Haitians in desperate need.
