A PUB manager has been barred from being the licensee after a catalogue of incidents of violence and drug-taking at the venue.
Since July 2006, police have been called to the Unicorn Pub, in Market Place, Banbury, 46 times after fights and drug-related incidents.
Manager Chris Lyons has been stripped of his licence by Cherwell District Council, although he can retain the tenancy. Any new licensee will have to be approved by the police.
Pub owner Punch Taverns said Mr Lyons would stay at the pub while it decided whether to appeal.
