A PUB and two shops served alcohol to underage teenagers during a test-purchase operation around Abingdon.
The Co-op, in Wootton, and Budgens, in Northcourt Road, Abingdon, were fined £80 each during Saturday’s spot-checks.
Police and licensing officials also warned staff at the Crown & Thistle pub, in Abingdon, after two bottles of beer were sold to under-18s.
The pub was not fined, but new procedures to combat underage sales were put in place.
Two other licensed premises passed the tests.
